Dear Friend,
As Easter approaches, I feel compelled to share with you from my heart. Over the past 16 years or so, my opinion of Easter has changed dramatically. At one time, it was simply another holiday that I celebrated with my children and family, focused on things of this world rather than the Spiritual significance that Easter holds.
Now, Easter has become to me the Holyday that it is! As I celebrate Easter, I cannot help but recognize my own sinfulness—it is me who deserves death, not Christ. The culpability for His death was mine, not His. With great joy, I accept His sacrifice on my behalf—I look forward to eternity in Heaven to thank Christ for taking my place!
His perfection and righteousness deserve nothing but the highest honor and glory; it saddens me that much of my life has been spent in ignorance of this fact.
Fortunately for me, God had a plan which included my salvation through acceptance of the reality of Jesus’ life and death. The master plan was the Master’s plan, perfect and wise without blemish or defect. I praise God that I now view Easter as the culmination of Jesus’ work here on earth and, as the well known song states, “the end of the beginning.” My life is now dedicated to bringing honor and glory to my Savior who died for me! As Paul states and I agree for myself, I am less than the least of all men. I have nothing good within me that does not come from Christ. He has reshaped me and molded me to be a different man than I once was. Where there was hate, now there is love, where there was pride and arrogance, there is now humility, where I once had an earthly perspective, now it is eternal.
I am proud to be a Christian, to represent Christ during my short time here on earth. I am not ashamed of the Gospel and I feel compelled to share God’s love and the knowledge of Christ with everyone I meet. I don’t feel responsible for their acceptance, but I am absolutely accountable to God to share how He has changed my life. If I don’t speak, I do believe the very rocks and trees will cry out the truth for me!
As a Steward of the Mustard Seed, I wanted to share with you that I consider this business to be God’s, not mine. I believe it exists not only to provide support to my family and the families that work with us, but mostly to share God’s love and to bring Him honor and Glory. As we seek to do this, we will undoubtedly fall way short, but we will continue to try to run a perfect race.
Thank you for your past support, I view you not only as a client, but as a partner in this journey called life! I pray the Lord’s blessing upon you and your family and I wish you a Spirit-filled Easter!!!
