The Mustard Seed Landscaping & Garden Center is growing and we want your help! We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Landscape Foreman to join a professional landscaping and garden center team that is "Rooted in integrity, founded on faith in Christ."
General Qualifications: This individual must have extensive knowledge of the landscape industry, including, but not limited to, landscape plant materials, procedures, construction and design. The ability to lead and organize a crew efficiently and at the same time provide a quality-finished product is a prerequisite. Good communication skills are required and a willingness to work long, hard hours are mandatory. Abilities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following items:

Degree in horticulture or applicable experience.

Able to coordinate and lead a landscape crew.

Excellent customer relation skills.

Able to foresee potential problems and prevent them from occurring.

Good communication skills.
-
Well-organized and efficient.

Able to keep accurate records
-
Installation knowledge of tie, boulder, and flagstone walls, basic carpentry and electrical, brick patios, and water features.

Safety conscious.
-
Good driving record, class B license required, health card required.

Able to operate Sod-cutter, Roto-tiller, trenchers, Bobcat, Dump Trucks, and miscellaneous hand tools.

Able to take directions, offer advice, and work as an integral part of our corporation.

Ability and willingness to enforce the company’s policies and manual.

Willingness to assist any other department or Manager as requested.

Able to work alongside production and/or nursery manager and share each and every responsibility outlined in their job descriptions.

Willingness to put in whatever effort is required to complete any and all assigned tasks.
Other responsibilities include: over seeing all aspects of installation from figuring job material, ordering product, reading job plans and blueprints, loading materials and equipment, installing and maintaining plants both on job site and at shop, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency of work, completing jobs on a schedule, collecting payments for jobs, filing paper work, and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
