The Mustard Seed Garden Center offers classes and hands-on workshops for both children and adults throughout the year. Designed to provide “something for everyone,” group workshop sessions cover a variety of horticulture topics that provide useful and practical information no matter what your level of gardening experience. Perfect for gardening groups, kids’ birthday parties or a girls’ night out – pick a workshop or class and grow!

Hat Making Workshop

Join us for an exciting Hat Workshop with Hat Lady Biz!

Prepare to tap into your creativity and craft a unique hat at this interactive workshop. Under the guidance of Hat Lady Biz, you'll create a fashionable hat to wear proudly.

Class time is 6:00-8:00PM however classes often run longer.

The first 30-45 minutes will be a lesson starting promptly at 6:00 PM.

Ticket sales deadline: 9/11/25 at 11pm, to accommodate shipping. This workshop is an excellent chance to acquire new skills, connect with others, and enjoy a fun atmosphere. Take this opportunity to craft a unique creation with Hat Lady Biz!

Each ticket priced at $84 plus tax, includes: a hat, a band, a charm, an accessory, a 30- 45minute lesson, and access to all necessary tools. 🤠 Additional customizations are available for purchase during the workshop (personal hats are not allowed). In the first 30-45 minutes, I will demonstrate the use of various tools: torch, spray paint, wood-burning tools, paint, stencils, and more.

A ticket is mandatory to participate. **Tickets cannot be transferred to other locations or classes. All supplies are pre-ordered. Hat Styles:

  • Fedora: Teardrop top with a flat brim.
  • Cowboy: Curved-up sides.
  • Cordobes: Round top with a flat brim.
  • The Billy: A NEW HAT STYLE! A blend of fedora and cowboy hats.
