The Mustard Seed Garden Center offers classes and hands-on workshops for both children and adults throughout the year. Designed to provide “something for everyone,” group workshop sessions cover a variety of horticulture topics that provide useful and practical information no matter what your level of gardening experience. Perfect for gardening groups, kids’ birthday parties or a girls’ night out – pick a workshop or class and grow!

Fall Festival Scarecrow Contest

Friday, October 16

Fall Festival Scarecrow Contest. Create and design a scarecrow to be judged by community for a $50 gift card to the winner. Create a family friendly scarecrow. For $25 you will receive a scarecrow post, a milk jug for the head, clothing and accessories to chose from. Or bring your own and create a theme. Think outside of the box. There are only 15 spots available and proceeds will benefit Bountiful Baskets Food Shelf. You will design the scarecrow on Friday, October 16, 2026. Completed scarecrows will be placed around the grounds of The Mustard Seed to be judged on Saturday, October 17th at our Fall Festival.

I was just wanting to give you all a big compliment this year. We love coming to see Santa and getting our Christmas tree from you every year, but this year we REALLY loved our tree. I took it down today and it was still alive and smelling great and we bought it right after Thanksgiving. Just very happy with our purchase, thanks again.
